    Assistant Manager Audit for R&I Electrical Appliances

    The Role Summary: In this role, you will lead and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional audit and assurance services. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the team's work, reviewing it to ensure quality compliance with professional standards.

    About the Job

    You will oversee and control the completion of audit/accounts assignments, including assessing controls, systems, and planning. Your primary goal will be to manage client relationships and identify opportunities, thinking strategically by understanding their needs, business, and key risks.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Lead, develop, and coach an effective team to achieve outstanding results.

    - Monitor and control team performance, reviewing work to ensure quality compliance with professional standards.

    - Oversee and control the completion of audit/accounts assignments, including assessing controls, systems, and planning.

    - Manage client relationships and identify opportunities, thinking strategically to understand their needs and key risks.

    - Maintain a high technical and professional standard, addressing situations before they become crises.

    - Manage team and individual budgets and performance objectives, identifying ways to maximize relationships and deliver added value.

    Requirements

    Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with proven external auditing experience.

    Experience of leading and managing an audit/accounts team to deliver high-quality assurance services.

    Demonstrate personal qualities and credibility to lead, develop, and motivate individuals and the team as a whole.

    A thorough understanding of systems and risk-based auditing is essential for success in this role.
