Job Purpose

To ensure microbiological testing related activities including environmental monitoring as per cGMP, regulatory and QMS requirements.

Education, Experience & Skills

Masters in Microbiology is preferred for this role.
3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience with validation processes and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment qualification and cleaning validation.
Knowledge of computerized systems validation.
Experience with SAP systems for inventory management.
Hands-on experience with validation deliverables like DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
Good knowledge of environmental monitoring and cleaning validation lifecycle approaches.
Good knowledge of Laboratory equipment/Instruments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform environmental monitoring and microbial testing of ionized and deionized distilled water along with raw material and finished products.
Maintain all SOPs related to microbiology Laboratory with respect to Equipment and process.
Reporting of OOS/atypical results and a part of investigation team.
Be a team member / Lead of the self-inspection / level I Audit.
Microbiological data entry in LIMS.
Following EHS standards and guidelines, attend workshops and adhere to SOPs.
Do daily calibration of Balances and maintain record accordingly in microbiological laboratory.
To comply with the audit reports of Level 1, Level 2 & 3 audits for effective improvements.
To follow GLP/GMP in the Laboratory.
Media preparation and record maintenance.
