    Clinical Nurse, Home Health Programme

    At the Aga Khan University Hospital, we are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. As part of our Home Health Programme in Karachi, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team.

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a qualified Clinical Nurse to provide personalized planned holistic nursing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate safe handling and proper use of equipment/supplies
    • Administer medication safely, applying knowledge of drug and dosages, refer to drug manual and/or pharmacy information as required, monitor patient responses to medication and communicate reportable findings promptly
    • Counsel and educate patients on health behaviors
    • Demonstrate efficiency in use of electronic monitoring equipment
    • Demonstrate competence in patient assessment and care planning accordingly
    • Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor

    Requirements:

    • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN), Post-RN BScN degree or Diploma in Nursing
    • Six months of work experience will be preferred while Diploma holders should have at least three years of experience
    • Valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Willingness to work in shift duties
