Position: I&C Engineer

Location: 1223MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, Balloki

Qualification: BSc in Electronics / Electrical Engineering (PEC Registered)

Experience: 5–8 years in a Combined Cycle Power Plant

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control (I&C) systems in the plant.
• Perform routine inspection, calibration, and testing of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and turbine control systems.
• Provide technical support for control systems including Mark VIe, Ovation, PLCs, and ALSPA.
• Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and plant improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures in all I&C activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, system configurations, and reports.
• Support commissioning activities and coordinate with OEMs and contractors when required.
• Contribute to reliability and efficiency improvements of plant operations through proactive monitoring and corrective actions.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with control systems (MKVIe, Ovation, PLCs, ALSPA).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control logic.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex I&C environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in power plant operations.

Pay: From Rs250,000.00 per month
