    Store Operations Manager

    The Store Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving cost-effectiveness and profitability within store operations.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Lead and direct the sales team, monitoring their performance to achieve store targets.
    • Motivate and develop the team's potential, creating succession plans for the store.
    • Identify training needs for store staff and deliver relevant/value-added training with support from Operations and HR.
    • Communicate effectively with the team, passing on all relevant information at the right time.
    • Develop and manage compensation plans for the sales team.
    • Create annual and quarterly strategies for the store to meet sales targets, develop the team, and increase business.
    • E nsure stores are merchandised commercially and visually to company standards for profit maximization.
    • Maintain accurate and timely reconciliation of cash, floats, and petty cash.
    • Analyze stock management information to maximize sales opportunities through effective stock management practices.
    • Monitor stock levels in-store and liaise with the store planner for optimal replenishment.
    • Manage day-to-day retail operations of the company.
    • Foster close coordination with dealers and maximize dealership sales.
    • Promote utmost customer service, cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, and lead by example on the sales floor. Deal with customer complaints effectively and promptly.

    Requirements

    • A passion for brand retailing.
    • Tertiary qualifications in Sales & Marketing.
    • At least three years' experience in an equivalent position.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, selling, and team-building skills.
    • Ability to provide two verifiable references.
    • A good command over MS Office applications.
