    Job Title: Head of Engineering

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our software architecture, driving technical vision, and overseeing the end-to-end system development life-cycle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Technical Leadership: Define and drive the technical vision, long-term strategy, and roadmaps for our software architecture.
    • Engineering Team Management: Lead and inspire a large, diverse engineering team, establishing a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
    • Mentorship and Development: Mentor and support senior developers, fostering their professional growth and aligning team performance with company goals.
    • Project Management: Oversee the planning, management, and execution of development projects, with a focus on scope management, issue and risk management, and alignment with delivery timelines.
    • Technology Strategy: Champion innovation and influence technical decisions that align with the company's growth and mission.
    • Process Development: Develop and implement engineering processes that scale effectively to support a high-performing engineering team.

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience in architectural design and development for large-scale systems.
    • Strong experience in leading large engineering teams, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-caliber technical talent.
    • Extensive experience with open-source technologies, particularly in web development stacks like Python, PHP, JavaScript, or .NET, and familiarity with agile development practices.
    • Proven record in the timely delivery of complex projects, managing large-scale engineering processes, and handling the technical demands of various software business models.
