Years of Experience: minimum 5 years a proven track record in renowned organizations
Qualification & Skills, ACCA Qualified, CA Finalist
Hands-on knowledge of IFRS, ERP, and Tax.
Position Summary:
Under executive direction, the purpose of the job is to perform highly complex accounting work according to generally accepted accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work. An employee in this job classification functions in a management capacity to supervise accounting professionals, and entry level accounting and support staff to ensure the accomplishment of assigned functions according to established schedules, calendars, projects, and programs of the department. Work includes researching and collecting highly complex data, preparing clear and concise financial reports, and monitoring expenditures and revenues of assigned divisions and/or departments. Performs related work as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis for management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Manage the timely filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Guide and supervise junior accountants and finance staff.
Review their work for accuracy and completeness.
Liaise with internal and external auditors; assist with audits and financial reviews.
Address audit findings and implement corrective measures.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Track actuals vs. budgets and report deviations.
Identify areas for cost control and efficiency improvement.
Implement best practices in financial operations and reporting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, and work under pressure.
Has sound experience in related work with reputed organizations dealing with multiple domains.
