    𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞:
    This is a full-time on-site role for a Microbiologist at Bureau Veritas Group in Lahore.

    The Microbiologist will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to laboratory work, quality control, using laboratory equipment, and conducting microbiology tests.

    This role will also involve ensuring quality assurance in laboratory processes.

    Job Description

    Responsible to carry out Food, Water & Environment microbiology testing as per defined SOPs.
    Maintain & ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for internal & external audits.
    Manage lab inventory according to the lead-time of each item.
    Implement equipment preventive maintenance plan & calibration program as per ISO 17025:2017 requirement.

    Participate in micro lab Proficiency Testing & Inter Lab Comparisons as per defined frequency & complete mandatory Technical / Non-Technical trainings as assigned by management.

    Participate efficiently in lab capacity building & develop testing competence as per requirement of newly added microbiological test parameters. Moreover, ensure full compliance with LIMS protocols
    Proper maintenance of record for all lab activities.

    Responsible to perform the job in the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics and the BV Group policies.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
    2-3 Years of Laboratory Experience and Relevant Testing Skills.
    Awareness of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, preferably training course.
    Technical Knowledge of Quality Control processes.
    Familiarity with Laboratory Equipment and its operation.
    Proficiency in Microbiology testing and analysis.
    Understanding of Quality Assurance principles.
    Good analytical, problem-solving, time management & team work Skills.
    Excellent MS Office Skills.
    Attention to detail and accuracy.
