    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Receptionist to join our team at {company}. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area, and maintaining high standards of security and safety.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • A strong background in administration, preferably in a customer-facing role.
    • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office) and proficiency in using software applications.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with analytical skills and attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Greet customers on arrival, receive, inform, and guide visitors, including coordination with employees.
    2. Ensure the reception area is maintained to a high standard, including newspapers and subscriptions.
    3. Cover the reception desk during working hours without fail.
    4. Maintain a professional and polite demeanor when interacting with clients, staff, visitors, and contractors.
    5. Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as directed by the Line Manager.
    6. Maintain security and safety standards, assist security with issuing visitor and vendor passes as required, and ensure visitors are recorded in the logbook, escorted, and do not have access to unauthorized areas.
    7. Administer the booking system for conference rooms and workrooms.

    Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum
