    About The Role

    We are seeking a driven Junior Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in automation testing, experience with version control systems, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

    This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery in an agile environment.

    What will be your responsibilities?

    Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and JMeter.
    Conduct API Testing using Postman to validate backend services and integrations.
    Utilise TestNG for test case management and execution.
    Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
    Use GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
    Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing processes.
    Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    Participate in improving testing processes and adopting best practices.

    What are we looking for, and what does it require to be the right fit for this role?

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    6 months to 2 years of experience in automation testing.
    Proficiency in Selenium for web automation testing.
    Experience with Appium for mobile application testing.
    Strong programming skills in Java for test script development.
    Expertise in TestNG for test case management and execution.
    Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
    Knowledge of JMeter for performance and load testing.
    Solid understanding of API Testing methodologies.
    Experience with Version Control Systems, specifically GitHub.
    Familiarity with Manual Testing techniques.
    Ability to create and maintain Manual Test Cases for functional and regression testing.
    Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing frameworks.
    Proficient in designing and building automation frameworks from the ground up.
    Capable of maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration abilities.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
    Enthusiasm for learning new tools, technologies, and best practices.

    Nice-to-Haves

    Experience with RestAssured for API automation.
    Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
