    Position Purpose:

    We are currently seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as Medical Billing manager for Medical Billing.

    The candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of mid-level experience in the medical billing service industry & Revenue cycle management.

    Exceptional communication skills are paramount for this role.

    Education & Professional Qualification:
    Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred. Certification(s): Certification in medical billing and/or credentialing preferred

    2 years of experience in medical billing, with 1 year in a managerial role.

    Proficiency in billing and credentialing software systems Responsibilities:
    Ensure the accuracy of patient demographic and insurance details prior to claim submission, meticulously reviewing and verifying information. Prepare and submit claims electronically or via paper format to insurance companies, adhering to procedural guidelines for payment processing. Diligently follow up on denied or rejected claims, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues to facilitate timely resubmission. Analyze and interpret insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), promptly identifying and rectifying payment disparities for optimal reimbursement. Accurately process patient payments, adjustments, and refunds within the billing system, maintaining meticulous financial records. Provide prompt, professional responses to inquiries from patients, insurance entities, and healthcare providers concerning billing and coding inquiries. Stay abreast of evolving billing guidelines, reimbursement protocols, and regulatory mandates within the medical billing domain. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to resolve billing and coding complexities.

    Actively engage in team meetings and educational sessions to remain informed of emerging trends and regulatory updates in medical billing and coding practices.

    Uphold strict patient confidentiality standards and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all aspects of handling patient information.

    Requirements Demonstrated experience of minimum to 1 year in medical billing, encompassing claim submission, payment posting, follow-ups, eligibility checks, and denial management.

    Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software such as ECW, Karea, Office Ally, Waystar, Mod Med, Trizetto, Revelution EHR, Therapynotes, Greenway, and Change Healthcare, among others.

    Competence in utilizing Microsoft Office applications for generating billing financial reports.

    Familiarity with various medical specialties including Internal Medicine, Urology, Ophthalmology, Behavioral Health, Skilled Nursing Home, Home Health Care, and Hospice.

    Strong analytical aptitude and keen attention to detail, enabling the identification and resolution of billing discrepancies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.

    Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and achieving targets.

    Proficient understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and diverse insurance types such as Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
