About Wajeeha Murtaza:
I am a Public Health practitioner and hold an MS degree in Public Health from Health Services Academy Islamabad, Pakistan. I have done Pharm D from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. I have more than five (5) years’ experience in health sector in different capacities, including monitoring and inspections of Healthcare Establishments in KPK and Islamabad. I have been a part of the team developing Minimum Service Delivery Standards of different type of healthcare establishments in the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA). I have a complete set of skills acquired through trainings and field activities in KPK and Islamabad. Earlier I was associated with KPK Healthcare Commission as an Inspector and with Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority as Inspection Officer. I joined Medical Emergency Resilience Foundation as Program Officer to oversee public health programs globally and work in the public health field. Currently, I am also perusing NEBOSH for Occupational Health and Safety.

Program Officer
• Collect, collate and analyze the demographic data and evidence for compilation of reports
• Act as focal person for health program in the absence of program manager and prepare project briefs and presentations for internal and external audience.
• Participate as MERF representative at various levels of coordination meetings
• Carry the process workflows forward in projects and identify areas if improvement with capacity building /systems strengthening plans.
• Develop periodic plans for effective programming, quality assessments and mitigation plans related to health and nutrition interventions.
• Contributes to the development and tracking of the implementation status of health and nutrition projects against milestones, tasks, targets and schedule.
• Ensure timely collection and collation of HMIS data for different projects and then update it periodically.
• Prepare and submits project progress reports, data matrix and means of verification to supervisor on time.
• Coordinate with the logistic section and ensure replenishment of medicine, equipment, reagents and supplies to avoid stock-outs.
• Assist the Program Manager in tracking the project resource analysis (BVA)

Inspection Officer:
- To carry out inspections of Healthcare Establishments for implementation of Minimum Service Deliver Standards in Islamabad.
- To be the part of the team developing Minimum Service Delivery standards for different kind of healthcare establishments.
- To Carry out anti-Quackery campaignsin Islamabad CapitalTerritory.
- To carry out Geo mapping of the Healthcare establishments in Islamabad.
- To be the part of Hearing Committee for complaints and Anti quackery cases of IHRA.
- Record keeping and report writingfor all the activities being carried out.
M&E Officer(Additional Charge):
- Assist DD M&Ein developing Monitoring tools and checklists for internal and external monitoring.
- Assist DD M&Eto ensure appropriate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system is in place and is functioning satisfactorily.
- Ensure proper maintenance of record of all M&E activities/reports.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual reports,on the activities.
- Any other task assigned by the Deputy Director M&E.

Inspector:
- Planning, Implementation and Reporting of field visits.
- Check and Evaluate health Care Establishments in the province as per set standards of health.
- To assist in inquiries and perform anti-quackery campaigns.
- Take part in complaint redressal.
- Submit a report of Field Activity to Director Licensing & Registration and Additional Director Monitoring & Evaluation.
- Assist in the processing of registration file in the registration cell of head office.
