Uzma Karim

I am a mature and experienced registered nurse, who can deliver and demonstrate safe and effective adult nursing care. I have been working as a nurse in different environments, including hospitals for years. Having worked as a Nurse in different settings, I have been exposed to different environments and challenges which has helped me gain a lot of experience and skills.

I ensured high levels of patient-centered care in the GI and GS Department and worked collaboratively with teams of medical professionals on care plan development; managed the execution of care plans and patient evaluations. I was able to utilize strong critical thinking skills to respond efficiently and promptly to rapid changes in a patient’s condition.

During my one-year internship tenure, I worked under supervision in medical, surgical, pediatric, intensive care unit, daycare unit, obs and gyne, and operation theatre. I worked under my mentors who assessed my skills and knowledge by integrating my clinical knowledge into practice.

I have done a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Aga Khan University Karachi Pakistan in 2018.
