Currently working as an Assistant Librarian BPS (17) in Information Technology University Punjab Library from 25 August 2013 

Duties:

• Provide reference service to researcher, faculty and staff as well.
• Ability to Work in Koha Library Software, and full  control on their modules

and who to customization OPAC.

• Fully know about D-space function and create a Digital repository for our Library.
• Strongly controlled circulation system and other resources with the help of Koha Library System.
• Using mail chimp that is online email marketing solution to manage subscribers, send emails, and track results. Offers integrations with other programs.
• Manage the news clipping service.
• Manage the Serial Publication, Journals, and Magazine and provide their Pdf copy to faculty and Students.
• Maintain the Acquisitions work with involve the process of budgeting, ordering, receiving, and processing materials for the library collection.
• Collaborate with other members of staff towards perfection of work programs and timely completion of schedule.
• Ability to Arrange Library Events and Workshop for the Faculty and Students.
• Manage both old and new books available in the library.
• Classify the books with the help of E-DDC System
• Catalogue and code library books and other equipment
•  Check books and other materials in and out
• Maintain records of all checks in and checks out
• Assist patrons is using library material effectively
•  Provide answers to basic reference questions
• Repair damaged library resources
• Proven ability to work with all types of library materials
• Highly skilled in providing assistant to library patrons in regards to circulation 
• In depth knowledge of methods to locate resources for patrons
