I have a 1-year professional experience as an Assistant Network Executive. My job responsibilities were:

  • Install and configure software and hardware.
  • Manage network servers and technology tools.
  • Manage web servers (IIS).
  • Set up accounts and workstations.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
  • Install and configure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments and servers, such as file servers, VPN gateways.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
