Umar Sidique

I am a professional journalist, working in the country leading news channel (Hum News) as an associate producer, my field is media and communication, so I want to serve in this field.

I have done MS in Media studies in 2020 from the Riphah International University Islamabad and I am already associated with the Hum News Network, currently working as an Associate producer with Hum News channel in Islamabad, besides I have 14 years vast working experience of media and communication field.

previously i work as reporter in Express News a Pakistani news channel, where i cover terrorism, Pakistan military operations in FATA and Swat area,  Historic flood of KPK 2010, IDPs displacement, closely worked with foreign aid mission of UNO( UNICEF,WFO) and other foreign agencies, where i came to know about the communication strategies and network of staff working in the field.
