I'm a pretty quiet and introspective person. I like having time to myself to recharge my social batteries. But once I open up around good friends, I really cherish those connections. One of my biggest passions is table tennis - I've loved playing ever since I was a kid rallying with my cousin. The sport requires such intense focus and quick reactions that I think it's actually helped sharpen my mind and reflexes over the years! I also unwind by watching comedy specials and trying to bring some humor into my work as a teacher, to keep things light for my students. Though I may seem reserved at first, deep down I'm thoughtful and care a lot about doing things well, even if I don't always show it. My introverted side shapes who I am.

I am a dedicated pharmacy professional with experience spanning clinical practice, industry, and academia. After completing my PharmD in Pakistan, I worked briefly as a community and production pharmacist to gain insights into the field. I then transitioned into pharmaceutical marketing, where I honed communication and leadership skills over 5 years. Inspired by these experiences, I pursued my MPhil in Pharmaceutics while working. I discovered a love for research and teaching, so became a Lecturer in Pharmaceutics 4 years ago. I continue to teach at a private university in Pakistan while completing my PhD. My diverse background provides me with a well-rounded perspective to bring to pharmacy education and research. I am passionate about training the next generation of pharmacists and conducting impactful scholarship. My journey has equipped me with the skills and experience to excel in an academic role focused on teaching, research and service. I am an engaged, collaborative professional committed to advancing pharmacy practice and education.

• Completed Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan
• Earned Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Pharmaceutics from University of the Punjab, Pakistan while working full-time in pharmaceutical marketing
