At a private health care facility as an emergency staff nurse. My major responsibilities are to assess patient’s vital signs, take medical and surgical history, and assist physicians during medical checkups. I`ve expertise in taking ECG, IV cannulation, IV/IM medication, burn dressings as well as other wound dressings, my domain of operations also includes to monitor patient in emergency area going thorough medical management. I`ve     always maintained safety standards and precautions to the best in my command. Maintained high quality client`s care. Utilization and periodic maintenance of equipment and instruments as appropriate by keeping regular record of check lists.

 

Emergency Staff Nurse

March 2017- March 2021

I worked in FCH for 4 years as staff nurse in emergency department, in this setup there is triage, Resuscitation, Adult Emergency, Pediatric Emergency, Plaster & casting, Minor surgery and obstetrics’ emergency facilities. In triage, main focus was to access the acuity level and transfer patient accordingly. In resuscitation area I were handling emergency cases for example (CVA patients, unconscious patient, and Cardiac arrested patient) providing emergency medication, intubation, urgent lab and radiology testing, giving emergency thrombolytic therapy before shifting patient in Cath-lab etc.

In minor surgery, the tasks included assisting physicians with cut wounds suturing, dressings, burn dressings under hospital guidelines.

In plaster area, responsibilities included assisting physicians with various techniques of casting, splinting and reduction of dislocations managementetc.

In obstetrics ‘emergency management included labor or other obstetrics/ gynecology emergency cases. I have done my nursing practice in all these areas and was responsible for total patient care competent in all baseline phlebotomy procedures including arterial blood sample extraction during my practice.

I worked in Jan memorial hospital 3 years as emergency staff nurse My main role was to take

Patient`s vitals record, triage patient, assist with doctor, provide basic health services like IV

Medications, blood sample extraction, vitals sign monitoring, ECG, burn dressing, wounds dressings, attending obstetric patients and observation of patients while adhering to safety standards and precautions. Utilize and ensure maintenance of equipment and instruments as appropriate by keeping regular record of check lists. Initiate emergency, safety practice and fire measures as necessary. Practice comprehensive nursing care in accordance with professional values and moral principles and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
