During my university tenure, I focused on amylase production by Aspergillus niger utilizing lignocellulosic biomass as a renewable resource This project deepened my understanding of bioprocessing techniques and sustainable solutions for industrial challenges.
During my internship at Dow College of Biotechnology, DUHS, I honed my skills in molecular biology techniques. I became proficient in DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, PCR, and SDS-PAGE. Additionally, I acquired expertise in fly rearing, metabolic assays, microscopy, and functional assays, contributing to my understanding of Drosophila melanogaster's biology.
Driven by my curiosity, I conducted a pilot study on the distribution of lead in Drosophila melanogaster tissues. This study shed light on the organism's physiological response to environmental toxins. Through meticulous experimentation, I contributed to our understanding of the impacts of heavy metal pollution on biological systems.
