I have an extensive working experience at Managerial level of more than twenty years with reputable organizations in the Transportation Industry of Pakistan. This experience has enabled me to tolerate extreme pressure, enhanced analytic, interpersonal and communication skills.

“Manager Logistics’ at Jehangir Services (Pvt.) Ltd Karachi- Pakistan JSL JAN 2021 Till Date

• Lead and Manage Operations, Logistics & Marketing Department.   
• Identify client’s demand & identify resources required in a given project independently 
• Monitor the ongoing company’s operations related to Transportation and Lifting Services 
• Coordinate with Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders for taking the deliveries from Sea Port or Air Port. 
• Close coordination with Head of Business & Technical Operation, Manager Operations, and Operations Coordinator and also with the field supervisors. 
• To assist and provide support to the Managing Director in connection with clients dealings and their requirements to fulfill contractual obligations and also in day to day affairs.

    hours availability of the fleet.   

• Managing a team which includes Manager Maintenance, a senior driver and crane operator, which conducts the interviews and driving tests for the drivers and crane operators and helper.
• JSL is ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001-2015 and OHSAS 18001-2007 certified Company; it’s the responsibility of Manager Workshop to facilitate all the departments to follow ISO standers implemented in workshop 
• The Manager workshop is responsible to monitor that Quality Management System of JSL & Manager Workshop will get the Workshop vicinity ready for ISO Audits and also for client’s visits. 
• Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify HSE issues & Manager Workshop has the powers to intervene in unsafe activities or operation.

“Senior Manager Operations” Global Logistix Syndicate Karachi (2008– 2013)         

• Preparing and negotiating new contracts with U.S. Military in Afghanistan, Gulf, and central Asia and also with local forwarders and Transporters in capacity of Senior Manager Operations.
• Closely work with the CEO of the company to prepare all quotations and contracts. 
• Directly work with Customs and Port Authorities for the smooth handling of the goods.

• Process and expedites Transshipment and Diplomatic Import Shipments in Pakistan Customs and other department of host Government Authorities for Department of Defense (DOD)  consigned to U.S. Military Bases in Afghanistan and Central Asia.

“Assistant Manager Import & Customer Services “CMA-CGM, Karachi Pakistan (A French Shipping Line) during 2001 -2003

• Managing all Shipping documentation relating to Import like, Import General Manifest IGM, Freight Manifest, and Issuance of delivery orders. 
• Independently work with the agent and other shipping lines to prevent delays in preparing the IGM. 
• Directly work with Customs and Port Authorities for the smooth handling of the goods port Qasim to Pak Shaheen Container Terminal.
