 Position: Resident Engineer

 Project: Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project in Tehsil Taunsa funded by the World Bank.

Duties:

 ·     Supervise and review design deliverables in coordination with the Nespak Design team.

 ·     Review and approve all construction deliverables, including shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. 

 ·     Resolve technical queries and provide technical guidance to the construction team.

 ·     Monitor site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.

 ·     Review and approve contractor invoices and progress reports.

 ·     Chair weekly and monthly progress and HSE meetings with the contractor and stakeholders.

 ·     Distribute duties and provide guidance to site supervision staff.

 ·     Ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards on site.

Project: Third PartyMilestone Monitoring Servicesfor the Construction of Schoolsincluding Water Supply, Sewerage and Land Scaping in Sindh funded by USAID.

Duties:

• Review the contractspecifications, BoQs and drawings.
• Visit the school sites of Northern Sindh spreading from Sukkur, Kashmore & Jacobabad to Dadu, Khairpur & Larkana for verification of pre-determined milestones and also for monitoring of progress of various schools.
• Verification of pre-determined Milestones (9 in no.) in two stages.
  • Physical verification of milestone.
  • Checking of Quality Assurance Documents duly signed by the Engineer (Halcrow) & Contractors for each package.
  • Completion of Milestone Monitoring and Reporting proformas for each milestone using MIS.
  • Submission of findings to AiD’s Chief of party based in Sukkur.
