Experience

 In PhD Remote Sensing, I focused on two different projects; one was related to Nondestructive site-specific rapeseed crop phenotype variable at different phenological stages and resolutions and second was related to weed detection and discrimination at early growth stage.  Evaluate the potential of a multispectral sensor onboard a UAV in relation to crop biophysical parameters, assess the spectrally predicted leaf DW and LAI for the calculation of LMA and SLA, over oil rapeseed crop at different phenological stages.  Assess the effects of image resolution on the prediction accuracy over the phenological stages to provide simple, rapid and useful information for Precision Agriculture.  Apply and determine the potential of UAV onboard multispectral camera for weed detection and discrimination, to assess the accuracy of pixel and OBIA methods for early season weed detection and discrimination.  To develop site-specific weed infestation map (weed infestation zones) with the bestselected classification method at early phenological stage.  In MS Remote Sensing & GIS, I did work on The Analysis of land surface temperature over Pakistan using MODIS satellite.  To investigate and counter validate the accuracy of land surface temperature acquired from satellite (MODIS) against the ground measured data.  To examine the statistical errors of satellite based land surface temperature by validation of the results against the ground measured data over Pakistan.  To obtain statistical correlation between MODIS Ts and Ta, through mean difference (mean), standard deviation (STD), linear regression coefficients (slope, offset), correlation coefficient (r), as well as mean absolute error (MAE) for each station.
