WEATHERFORD OIL TOOLS- BASRA; IRAQ.                                                         

Senior Expat Field Engineer‐ Well Completions Department: Feb 2019‐ Present                                                                           

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

Ø  Currently working as Senior Field engineer for completions/work over engineer and doing jobs for major clients in Basra – Iraq for (BP- ROO, ENI, Luk oil, Exon Mobil, Petro China, SLB).

Ø  Provide technical expertise in selection, design, planning and execution.

Ø  Demonstrate Safety Leadership. Ensure that the Well Completion jobs, Re-completion Workover jobs and service tool jobs are implemented in compliance with Company’s QHSE Policies & Regulations site and motivated to perform job with high technical and HSE standards.

Ø  Deliver timely and accurate assigned completions and workover procedures.

Ø  Verify equipment QAQC documents comply with contractual requirements and are fit for the well operating conditions.

Ø  Plan for future wells and ensure required completions materials are available in country and allocated as required.

Ø  Focal point for communication with the client at the wellsite.

Ø  Executing both completions and service tools jobs for wells in IRAQ.

Ø  Execute completions for oil & water injector wells with BP- ROO. Running weatherford Seal bore and hydraulic completions.

Ø  Run lower completions and upper completions which includes seal bore retrievable packer with AGV and SSSV, weatherford Model Black cat packer (retrieving seal bore packers), weatherford model Hydrow 11 AP packer (hydraulic set packer), FIV (Formation Isolation valve) and shifting tool for ESP completions with both LUKOIL (West Qurna – Yamama project) & ENI (Al Zubair project).

Ø  Perform jobs for retrieving seal bore packers with retrieving tool (Work over jobs)

Ø  Performed installation of various size of Service tools with BP-ROO which includes Stradasnap upper & lower packer with V111 unloader and bull plug at bottom for multiple acid jobs in a well, DLT Packers with VIII unloaded & storm valve, HD Packer, TSU retrievable bridge plug with DLT for Casing leak, negative test & Change of Well head job, permanent cement retainers (Squeeze jobs), CIBP with Mechanical setting tool /E-line and composite plugs (Fracguard).

Ø  Ensure Well Control is maintained at each step as per the WORK program.

Ø  Report to Completion and Workover Manager on rig side, emphasis on the critical jobs performed, discuss on next courses of action and obtain instructions and clarifications on any amendment to the WORK program.

Ø  Apply the Management of Change process in case of any deviation on WORK programs during the course of operations.

Ø   Review and approve and End of Well Reports prepared by WO Supervisors.

Ø  Prepare and submit accurate & thorough job reports on a timely basis, utilizing the relevant WPTS (Weatherford Performance Tracking System).

Ø  Workshop assistance for the disassembly, assembly, inspection, and testing of equipment along with supporting documentation as required.
