My journey in medical imaging began with a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Medical Imaging Technology from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, where I graduated with a remarkable 78.73% and received the award for Best Graduate in the Department. This foundation was crucial in building my understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of medical imaging. In 2022, I furthered my education with a Master of Philosophy in Medical Ultrasound Technology from the University of Lahore, achieving a CGPA of 3.83. These academic achievements underscore my commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

To complement my formal education, I have earned a certificate in Continuing Medical Education from the Wright State University School of Medicine. This certification has enriched my knowledge base and provided me with up-to-date information on advancements in medical imaging technology and patient care practices. My academic journey reflects my dedication to maintaining a high standard of knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving field of medical imaging.

My professional experience spans eight years, during which I have worked as a Medical Imaging Technologist and Ultrasonographer. At DHQ Hospital Narowal, I conducted a wide range of X-ray, ultrasound, and CT scan procedures. This role involved performing abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and small parts imaging. My responsibilities included educating patients about the imaging process, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, managing patient schedules efficiently, and operating and adjusting ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images.

In addition to my role at DHQ Hospital, I have also worked as an Ultrasonographer at Noor Hospital Narowal for two years. Here, I performed abdominal, obstetric, and gynecological scans, assisted in patient preparation and positioning for ultrasound exams, and maintained detailed patient records and imaging logs. These roles have provided me with hands-on experience in various imaging modalities, enhancing my technical proficiency and patient management skills.

I have developed advanced proficiency in several areas of medical imaging, including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, gynecological, and small parts imaging. My expertise extends to equipment maintenance, obstetric Doppler imaging, patient care and safety, radiation protection, portable sonography, and quality control. This diverse skill set ensures that I can provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services, maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.

Throughout my career, patient care and safety have been at the forefront of my practice. I believe that effective communication and empathy are essential in providing quality healthcare. My approach involves educating patients about the imaging process, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. This patient-centered approach has earned me the trust and appreciation of those I serve.

In emergency situations, such as ectopic pregnancies and road traffic accidents, I have demonstrated my ability to make timely, life-saving diagnoses. For example, in cases of abdominal injuries from bull impacts or gut perforations, I have adeptly identified critical findings like free fluid and organ lacerations, facilitating appropriate management. Additionally, I have diagnosed conditions such as fibroids, ovarian lesions, hemorrhagic cysts, and molar pregnancies, ensuring swift treatment plans. These experiences have honed my ability to remain calm under pressure and make informed decisions in high-stakes scenarios.

My dedication to patient care extends to ensuring the safety and well-being of both patients and staff. I have completed courses on basic life support, fire safety, and minimum service delivery standards, emphasizing my commitment to maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
