noshin Masood

I am Noshin Masood, Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences. My interest in becoming involved in environmental mineralogy, geochemistry, and toxicology. My research focus is Environmental chemistry with a special focus on groundwater, air and soil contamination, elemental occurrence, isotopic signatures, quantification, distribution, transportation, mineralogy, and carbon mineralization. An experienced, enthusiastic, and focused researcher who is always committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and well-being of young researchers. Noshin is passionate about her career and enjoys working in a busy environment and relishes the challenge of managing a diverse workload. She can establish a supportive relationship with colleagues and maintain discipline. She is fundamentally committed to good practice and innovation and is very much a team player. Always engaged in continuous learning to broaden her knowledge and experience, she is confident, passionate, and enthusiastic about the lab and field-oriented research work. She has considerable experience in carrying out teaching, staff training, and presenting reports to senior management at meetings. During her Ph.D. degree, due to her excellent lab skills, she was offered visiting lectureship to demonstrate lab skills at the department of environmental Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University. Her passion for teaching causes her to open doors at the Bahria University Islamabad too where She taught both bachelor and M. Phil classes. Noshin is currently looking for a challenging role that is only limited by the candidate's drive and ambition.

I have considerable experience in carrying out teaching, staff training, and presenting reports to senior management at meetings. During my Ph.D. degree, due to my excellent lab skills, I was offered visiting lectureship to demonstrate lab skills at the department of environmental Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University. Further my passion for teaching causes me to open doors at the Bahria University Islamabad too where I taught both bachelor and M. Phil classes. 

Recently, I completed my Ph.D. with the thesis entitled “Hydro-geological and Environmental Impact of coal mining in selected Districts of Salt Range Punjab Pakistan from the Department of Environmental Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan. My research focus is coal extraction/ beneficiation and its impacts on environmental media (air, water, and soil). My research work presents a deep insight into the picture to provide baseline data to define the contaminant hydrology and related human health concerns that need immediate solutions.
