Nomana Rasheed

Nomana Rasheed, MSc. in Clothing and Textile with specialization in Textile and Technology. My major subjects are; Textile and Fashion designing, Applied and related Arts, Marketing, Merchandising, Historical costume and Textile Chemistry. 

I have  experiences of Teaching in Bahria college ( N.O.R.E 1) and Head of department in Karachi School of Textile and Fashion Design. I also served my as an  Incharge administration at the same.

 During my professional career as Textile and Fashion Merchandizer I gained in-dept knowledge of Textile processing and back processing such as Spinning, weaving, dying , printing and finishing processes etc. My areas of expertise are; Textile and Fashion Designing, Textile and Fashion Merchandising.  I also achieved prizes in textile and designing fields from PTDC government and private sectors. I have also worked freelancer as fashion and textile designing.

I am a dedicated person who can work under pressure and deliver quality work. I am good in time management and work smartly and technically.

 1997-1999 worked as a merchandiser in GIA in Associate (Textile fashion buying agency) 

1999-2001 worked as a Manufacturer merchandiser in associated industries 

2003 - 2004 worked as a Lecturer in Karachi School of Textile and Fashion Design

2003 - 2004 worked as administration Incharge and Academics counsellor / coordinator in Karachi School textile and Fashion Design

2009-2010 worked as a class teacher Bahria college 

2013 - 2015 worked as Senior Merchandiser in Super Textile Agency

2016 - 2018 worked as a Head of department (HOD) In Karachi School of Textile and Fashion Design.

2018 - Present   working as a designer of formal, casual and wedding costume (make -to-order)

2019 - 2022 worked as a Quality Merchandiser in Naveena industries

MSc in Clothing and textile / Designing, and specialization in marketing merchandising 

BSc in Home Economics with major in Clothing & Textile and Applied Arts.
