 ➢ To detect and remove the fault in transmission line by using three phase relay 

➢ To locate the distance of fault from distance relay at how many distance the fault is occur in transmission line 

➢ To detect fault due to the short circuit in transmission line we using resistance meter and for open circuit we using capacitance meter
