MUHAMMAD YASIR AKRAM

I earned my education in Lahore right from Primary to University level, finally graduated in 2010 from Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology Punjab University and had dreams in mind about what would be the next level or opportunity for me as a young graduate engineer that time. I started earning during university days through teaching, often covering my daily expenses with home tuitions & lectures in various academic institutions. My favorite subjects were Chemistry & Mathematics at that time. 

Things were moving in my mind after I graduated in 2010 about the conditions of my job. However, I got my first job in a Pharmaceutical Company in Lahore. After 4 months, I switched my job and went to Karachi to avail a mesmerizing career in the oil and gas sector but after 2 years I realized that I got entered in complexities of life, the time was to move into another place and that time, I went away from the homeland to Saudi Arabia. I worked as Research Associate in King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, where I learnt to deal with people in multicultural & diverse environments. As luck went on, I got back to Pakistan in September 2013 after spending almost one year to start a new journey with ICI Pakistan Ltd (Later name is Lucky Core Industries), one of the leading manufacturing firms in Pakistan. I worked there for almost 9 years until I got another opportunity in the Treet Group (Pharma Division). During my stay at ICI, I completed a Masters in Business Administration (Exec) from Virtual University of Pakistan, one of the finest institutions for distance education in Pakistan. In the Treet Group, I worked for 7 months in their Lahore Plant. Due to cultural differences and unethical approach of the company’s Managing Director, I had to leave the company on 16th February 2023. Since then I am working as Technical Writer, Consultant and Trainer for University Graduates and Industry Professionals. 

I have done B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and master's in business management. The combination of engineering and management drives me in various dimensions whenever I work in any kind of project. I have worked in core engineering projects, human resource and key strategic projects as well.
