Airfield Ground Lighting (AFL) Engineer Imperial Electric Company c/o PCAA | Oct. 2022 – Present 

• Improved Airfield Ground Lighting System operation and maintenance at Islamabad International Airport for enhanced efficiency and reliability. 
• Led a team in conducting routine preventive maintenance on AGL systems, backup power supplies, ALCMS, ILCMS, and Mv/Lv Panels to minimize downtime. Implemented Megger testing of AFL circuits to proactively identify issues and prevent system failures. 
• Monitored ALCMS continuously to promptly detect and resolve component malfunctions, maintaining uninterrupted airport operations. 
• Managed critical components such as CCRs, AGLAS Masters & Remotes, Induction loops, Optical switches, and Communication Networks (Optical fiber ring). Conducted regular inspections of CAT-II & CAT-IIIB to ensure compliance with design and standards.

• As an AFL Engineer at Islamabad International Airport, my job duties were to oversee and maintain the AGL system.
•  Performed routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure that all systems were functioning optimally. 
• Fix faults promptly to avoid airport disruptions. 
• Conduct daily/weekly inspections. Ensure compliance with airside safety rules. 
• Keep records of maintenance activities and monthly consumables. 
• Prepare a monthly preventive maintenance schedule as per standard procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
