DESERT EXCHANGE LLC | Head Cashier / Teller December 21, 2014 to March 21, 2020 Buying and selling of multiple currencies either walk-in customers or in bulk. Providing customers personalized friendly and efficient cashiering service and dealing with major Exchange houses in UAE for wholesale currency buying and selling. Monitor Forex movement at any given time and ensure use of accurate rates on all deals. Count cash on safe/drawer at start and end of the day, account all transactions and report any discrepancy. Day to day cash management from receiving and paying client and dealing with both walk-in customers and wholesale/bulk currencies. Receiving all forms of payment such as money and cheques according to the established standard and procedures. Responsible for accurate and timely allocation of cash. Sorting, counting and wrapping currencies and coins. Compiling and maintaining monetary and non-monetary reports and records; verify the cash to ensure that all notes are genuine and in case any counterfeit notes are presented, the matter should be addressed to the immediate supervisor or manager. Follow the fraud prevention and security measures; strictly abide by the UAE central bank regulations against the money laundering and financing terrorism. Assist supervisor by making Day-End report. Keep a close watch over suspicious elements among the customers and take the assistance of the supervisor/senior cashier/manager if required.
