I am a professionally qualified and highly experience plant Operator having 10 years of work experience with extensive knowledge in the field of oil and gas processing industry which includes Gas sweetening, Gas Dehydration Unit, LPG Panel Operation, NGL stabilization, Sour Water Tanks, Skimming Unit, Bio-Remediation, Chemicals injection, Oil Metering Skid, Fire and Gas Detection System and Sulfur recovery Unit. I also have experience in Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Pre-start, Startup activities including Punch listing flushing, blowing, pressure/leak testing instrument loop/logic checking, and machinery solo test run with vendors. Good understanding and ability to read process drawings, P&IDs and MSDs.

 Petroleum Exploration (Pvt.) Limited Badar Gas Field, Ghotki, Sindh- Pakistan 

Responsibilities 

 Read log sheets of the previous shift in the Main Control Room indicating temperatures, pressures, humidity, and loads to ascertain equipment operating condition in addition to checking standby equipment/ generators to ascertain readiness for operation.

  Carried out regular patrols of the plant to observe the operation of equipment and machinery, generators, valves, pumps, etc., as well as, recording & reporting any abnormalities, such as leaks, high temperature, and abnormal noise, to the Shift Controller.

 Operated the equipment and valves including start-up shutdown locally and remotely.

  Isolated equipment for maintenance preparation, including valve isolation depressurizing and purging with nitrogen as necessary, and communicated requests to Electricians to carry out electrical isolation. 

 Carried out explosive oxygen and toxic gas tests for hot work and vessel entry, and signed work requests to obtain the approval of the Shift Controller before the commencement of work.

  Monitored maintenance work to ensure it is carried out safely and followed work permit conditions.

  Carried out other similar or related duties, such as calculating running hours of various types of equipment to obtain historical data for maintenance purposes. 

 Took immediate corrective action in the event of an emergency and notify the Shift Controller immediately by radio of any urgent situation, in addition, to taking initial action in firefighting and first aid, especially after normal working hours when no immediate assistance is available.

  Supported the Shift Controller including monitoring all SCADA for the operation of the gas distribution network
