Muhammad Imran khan

Mr. Muhammad Imran is currently a PhD scholar of English Applied Linguistics in Shanghai University China (working on thesis) . I completed my M.Phil in English Applied Linguistics in 2016 from Lahore Leads University, Pakistan.  In 2009, I completed my Master in English (Linguistics & Literature) from National University of Modern Languages Islamabad. In 2013, I completed my Master in English Language Teaching and Linguistics (ELTL) from University of the Punjab Lahore.I started my teaching career as an English Instructor at Ahmad Hassan Polytechnic Institute, Lahore in 2009.  I have been teaching as an English Instructor at Virtual University of Pakistan since 2016. I have been teaching English language, linguistics and research courses in University of the Punjab Lahore, Lahore Leads University Lahore, and  Govt. College of Technology Railway Station Lahore as a visiting faculty member since 2014-2016. I have designed four MA ELT courses and have also developed two full courses (Semantics & Pragmatics and Introduction to Linguistics). These lectures are televised via VUoP TV Channels. I have also recorded a course “Discourse Analysis” which is televised via VUoP TV Channels. I'm is a published author of six articles. I have also presented my two research papers in international conferences. My research interests lie in Anthropological Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Language Education, and Language Planning. I'm  a member of VU-Bytes, VU quarterly student Magazine, and VU Sports Committee.

     I have 14 years of teaching experience. I started my professional career as an English Instructor at Ahmad Hassan Polytechnic Institute, Lahore in 2009 and have been serving there for 6 years. Currently, I've teaching as an English Instructor at Virtual University of Pakistan since 2016. I have teaching various English language, linguistics and research courses in University of the Punjab Lahore, Lahore Leads University and Govt. College of Technology Railway Station Lahore since 2014-2016.

I'm a PhD student of English Applied Linguistics in Shanghai University China and currently working on my thesis. 

I have done M.Phil English Applied Linguistics,  MA Linguistics & Literature and MA English Language Teaching & Linguistics (ELTL). I have also done a short course on TESOL Methodology from University of Maryland Baltimore USA.
