I’m an aspiring AWS Cloud Security Engineer with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud monitoring, and security validation, supported by 2+ years of professional experience as a web developer.

I began my career building and maintaining production web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PHP, and Laravel. This background gives me a developer-first security mindset — I understand how applications are designed, where security gaps originate, and how to implement practical controls without disrupting development workflows.
Over the past year, I’ve transitioned into Cloud Security, gaining hands-on experience with:
Designing and testing IAM policies using least-privilege and deny-first approaches
Enforcing MFA, IP-based restrictions, and region controls
Validating access behavior using CloudTrail logs and IAM Policy Simulator
Identifying internal and external exposure risks with IAM Access Analyzer
Monitoring compliance drift using AWS Config
Running security monitoring experiments with CloudTrail and GuardDuty, focusing on real-world detection and cost efficiency
I approach cloud security by treating IAM as a preventive control, CloudTrail as a detective control, and AWS Config as continuous compliance — ensuring security decisions are backed by evidence, not assumptions.
I’m currently seeking Junior AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Cloud Security Associate roles (Pakistan or remote). I can share GitHub projects, IAM policy implementations, and CloudTrail evidence on request.
