With over three years of hands-on experience as an end user at NIH, I've been actively involved in conducting Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) experiments. My expertise spans various areas, including library preparation for SARS CoV-2, Metagenomics, CCHF, Dengue, Cox virus, and more.

I am proficient in utilizing both ion-torrent and Illumina platforms for sequencing tasks. Additionally, I possess the capability to assess Sanger sequencing and NGS data, enabling me to identify issues such as sample interference, inhibition, or other challenges that may affect data quality. Further I am proficient in conducting sequencing and data analysis to characterize known pathogenic variants or explore novel variants.

I have spent more than ten years at H.A Shah & Sons, fulfilling the role of Field Application Scientist (FAS). Throughout my tenure, I have been extensively involved in providing training to customers on a range of applications, including Sanger sequencing, ion torrent (NGS), microarray, and flow cytometry applications.
