Experience
1. Worked as an Electrical and Electronic Supervisor, Sharjah UAE Container Terminal
Gulftainer - (16th July 2010 - 10 July 2020).
▪ Experienced in working at other stations of the Gulftainer Company Ltd., namely
Khorfakhan port in Sharjah port and Umm Qasr port, Iraq.
▪ Responsible for supervising technicians’ activities within the container terminal and
provide technical support to all technicians personally, with a focus towards crane
maintenance.
▪ Ordering spare parts from different suppliers by SAP software, E-mail and on phone.
▪ Technical knowledge and experience in testing, troubleshooting/fault isolation and
repair/overhauling of heavy machinery such as 2*Gottwald Mobile Harbour Cranes, 22 *
Quay Crane Liebherr, and 24 RTG (Rubber Tyer Gantry).
▪ Routine technical activities include replacing faulty drives, fault isolation on 3-phase
power systems, fault isolation on 110v, 24v control circuits, replacement of faulty
contactors, TACHO Generators, ETS, reverse power protection, relays, switchgears, DC
breakers, rectifiers and transformers, and adjustment of settings on frequency drives.
▪ Experience in automation, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software and hardware
devices like SIMENS SimaFlexi Soft, Step 7-300, Step5 of Siemens Germany,
CODESYS (Controlled Development System), WINCC, QUICK PIC of LIEBBHERR
Ireland and their inter bus connections.
Worked on the latest Mitsubishi cranes modified by PORTECH Engineers, with latest
PLC Step 7-400.
