Prepares and send pilot briefing package which include OFP/Flight Documents/Check list which is a legal document providing authorization for the flight to depart. Monitors weather conditions, aircraft position reports, aeronautical navigation charts and aircraft radio calls to evaluate the progress and safety of the flight. Advises the pilot in command of significant changes to weather or the flight plan and recommends changes as required for the continued safe operation of the flight. Familiarize with the latest changes in ATS routes/navigation facilities NOTAMS etc., and meteorological conditions of the areas where the flight is to be dispatch. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on Technical Bulletins and Fuel Policy concerning flight dispatch, route manuals revisions, ATS procedures, etc. and day to day instructions having a direct bearing on the safe conduct of flight. Compute the CFP (Computerized Flight Plan) giving due considerations to meteorological conditions, aircraft performance capabilities, en-route facilities, safety, economy and company fuel policy. Performing Crew briefing/de-briefing on weather condition, en-route and at destination/alternate and availability/serviceability of Radio Navigation and Approach aids. Provide assistance to the pilot-in-command in flight or on ground, in coordination with FOCC (Flight Operation Control Center) and or maintenance as when required. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of en-route FIRs/UIRs rules covering over flights, facilities at destination/alternate with complete details of Search a n d Rescue center and the type of equipment available there. Having a continuous watch on the flights in the tenure of duty also within the zone of responsibility, advises the management of any operational information affecting the safe conduct of flight through available communication channels. Coordinate for non-scheduled operationssuch as charters, extra sectionsflights, positioning and ferry flights to be operated in next 72 hours. Coordinate and disseminates information according to the laid-down policies and procedures in the event of any incident, accident or emergency caused by the natural calamities such as floods, rain or any other such phenomena which disrupts the airline schedule. Responsible for the economics, operational control, and cargo service requirements for daily flight operations. Authorizes, regulates, controls and terminates aircraft flights in accordance with company and governmental regulations and policies to ensure safety. Reviews and evaluates weather information to determine potential flight safety hazards and to select the preferred and most economical route of flight. Computes the amount of fuel required, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions, and other factors affecting safety of flight using company and CAA established guidelines. Provide Max Allowable Gross Payload to the client well before the flight ETD for cargo buildup and lineup for loading. Slot Coordination for ferry flights for Turkey & Switzerland. Maintain the shift log book for the important events happened in the duty tenure. Carry out the duties as assigned by the management. Worked in Technical Cell, updating and loading of effective Notams and routes. Also taking Overfly and landing permissions by appropriate ATS authority. Utilization and retrieval of post flight documents for post flight analysis.

Flight Operation Officer / Flight Dispatcher (SAPS) |Dec 2009 – Mar 2015| Key Responsibilities: Complete ground handling from Chock-on to Chocks-off. Correspondence with clients and processing the client’s handling request. Coordination with Amiri Office, Ministry regarding flights. Coordination with different departments Ops Control Hub, Premium Terminal, VIP Lounge, Ramp, Engineering, Load Control, Cargo, cabin appearance, Check-in & Boarding, Baggage Buildup, Catering, and Fuel. Assist the crew for immigration, transportation, accommodation and other matters. Coordination with crew (Cockpit + Cabin) regarding making CFP, obtaining / retrieval of computerized flight plans and update then from NOTAMS, flight path, over fly permission, airspace levels. Calculation of required fuel, load and calculations related to aircraft performance. Dispatching Schedule flights in accordance with CAA rules, operations specification and other existing regulations. Briefing and providing Captain with up to date information on ROUTES, WEATHER CONDITIONS, ALTERNATES, NOTAMS, NAVAIDS, and JEPPESSEN etc. Maintaining up to date awareness of all manuals including JEPPESSEN Manual, Equipment’s Manuals. IATA Manuals, Flight Dispatch Manuals, Flight Operation Policies, CAA Regulations and informing captain of any relevant update or changes on time. Look after all the quires and problems faced by clients on ground and facilitate as required. During my tenure at SAPS, used to provide Ground Handling Services from chocks-On to Chocks-off to some very well-known Airlines like Malaysian Airlines, Iran Air, GMG Airlines, Shaheen Air, Lufthansa Cargo, Cargo Lux, Logistic Air, Middex, Royal Bahrain, and other VVIP, VIP, CIP, ADHOC Chartered Passenger/cargo Flight. Correspondence with clients and processing the client’s handling request. Complete Ground handling operation, Coordination with Ramp, Engineering, Load Control, Cargo, cabin appearance, Check-in & Boarding, Baggage Buildup, Lost & Found, Catering, and Fuel. Submission and coordinating for the landing / tech landing / overflying permissions from HQCAA. Arrange accommodation for the crew and assist the Crew through immigration and customs. Responsible for submitting operational report to Manager on daily/monthly basis. Work as a passenger services assistant in SAPS Thai Air, Shaheen Air, Malaysians Airlines, and Eritrea. Maintain close relation with airlines, Govt. agencies and suppliers to insure the highest level of customer services constantly delivered. To act as liaison with SAPS Outstation network for special handling request and coordination during flight irregularities. Pre and Post flight documentations. Any other task assigned by Management
