Wing Head –Operational Risk Management

• Develop strong relationships with business units across verticals & provide technical supports for managing Operational risks.
• Provide support to stakeholders in timely reporting of all known operational risks incidents with accuracy and completeness.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of incidents, support business units by sharing best practices & recommended actions with target dates & lesson learned.
• Monitoring of critical incidents and status of corrective actions plans for improved processes from inception to closing. 
• Present Operational Risk Incidents (ORI) data and trends in ERM & ORM committee with recommendations to improve the performance and efficiency of business unit. 
• Provide technical support to business units (1st line of defense) in embedding risk practices.
• Liaison up with business units & senior leadership to proactively identify and manage their operational risks and meet regulatory guidelines.
• Support Audit & Compliance in internal investigations of issues arises from frauds, disputes & policy violations.
• Review and challenge designs and controls of Bank-wide Processes and new business and products.
• Assist business units in materiality assessments, stress testing & KRI reporting and challenge its critical risks, mitigating controls & testing results, propose recommendations for improving controls.
• Develop, review and update ORM policies, manuals, procedures & strategy on annual basis and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 
• Ensure Business Units have updated Business Continuity Management guidelines and functional DR site. 
• Held risk awareness campaigns/ publications including cyber & technology risks, outsourcing risks to maintain a robust control environment.

Officer- Credit Administration 

• Analyzing Corporate/ Commercial/ SME credit proposal for risk identification and suggesting mitigating.
• Identify inconsistencies, gaps, weaknesses and risks associated with the financing and seeking necessary clarifications.
• Review of Risk Ratings of the obligor, assigned by the business group and rechecking the computations as per risk measurement guidelines of the bank.
• Financial Analysis of the borrowing company based on the financial statements, relating to and reflecting on Industry/Sector updates, for identification of relevant risk which could help in credit decision making.
• Recommending Approval/Rejection of credit proposals as per Business Discretionary Powers.
•  To assist credit team in rescheduling and restructuring of credit proposals of Commercial, SME and Consumer finance due to deteriorated repayment capacity.
• Keep abreast with the changes in regulatory and legal framework and relate them to Bank’s credit policy for any need to develop/amend to make it effective and efficient.
• Preparing credit comment sheet with a view to highlight risks associated with industry, customer and proposed financing facility which could affect the repayments.
• Ensuring stringent monitoring of lending portfolio (corporate, commercial and SME) and delinquents accounts and taking suitable remedial measures to secure repayments.
