1. To carry out Routine/Preventive/Breakdown Testing of relays of 220/132/66/11 KV Power/Auto Transformers, substation and their equipment, Transmission lines and Switchgears as per given schedule.
2. Testing, commissioning, and fault rectification of underground cabling of MV/LV.
3. Setting calculations relay parameterization/programming and testing of Distance, Differential, over current, Line differential and Breaker Failure Relays.
4. Perform, Write, maintain and technical specifications and notes required for all electrical wound plant, e.g. grid transformers, super-grid transformers, earthing/auxiliary transformers used on the Transmission network and review existing specifications and update them based on lessons learnt from projects.
5. Review test plans to ensure that all technology and equipment selected is adequately tested, proven and validated and review proposed suppliers to confirm their suitability.
6. Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of relays including over current / earth fault, distance, transformer differential, under frequency, synchro check, breaker failure, and auto reclosure, bus bar protection. 
7. Troubleshooting of control wiring of switchgears. 
8. On-site wiring, primary and secondary testing of CTs and VTs of 220kV/132kV/11kV.
9. On-site testing of power and auto transformers including TTR, IR, winding resistance, C & DF, open circuit and short circuit tests in case of fault and new energization.
10. Stability Test of Busbar, Line and transformer
11. Hipot testing of HV equipment.
12. 220V DC Battery Maintenance of 220KV/132KV/11KV Grid Stations.
13. To carry out works as per SOP following HSEQ standards.
14. To carry out commissioning / testing of distance relays, differential relays, under frequency, over current, TCS and breaker failure relays at different voltage levels of 220kV/132kV/66kV and 11kV according to system changes, fault discrepancies and requirements as advised by system analysis department.
15. Attended Power Transformer Oil Leakages.
16. Testing of 132kV Breakers (Timing test using CBA 1000 and contact resistance test using ABB)
17. 11kV Switchgears (Make: Siemens, Areva and Alstom).
18. Capacitor Banks 4MVAR & 8MVAR (Make: Siemens)
19. Able to run settings calculations for power system equipment such as generators, long OHL/cables, transformers etc.
20. Experience on various range of different relays vendors and their software.
21. Administer repairs and corrective work on electrical equipment to ensure the quality of the work performed and compliance with manufacturer’s instructions, Company’s standards and Best Practices.
22. Conduct QA/QC for maintenance activities to ensure compliance with Company’s maintenance standards.
23. 132kV & 220kV Isolator Maintenance (Make: GEC, Electron Breda, Areva, China Type).
24. Hands on experience of relay communication software i.e. Siemens DIGSI 5, 4.86, Siemens SIGRA 4, Areva Micom S1 Studio, Enervista UR (GE), PCM600 (ABB) & CAP505 (ABB) etc used for relay parameterization, fault and events data retrieving, testing and analysis purpose.
25. Capable to witness FAT / SAT of various Electrical equipment including protection & control panels, Auto & Power Transformers, Switchgears, CTs, PTs etc.
26. provide specialist input where required, verify & inspect project proposals are fit for purpose and identify any scope changes required.
27. Integration and application of communication protocols used in Power System automation and metering such as IEC 61850.
28. Provide technical advice to the transmission business for new wound plant, wound plant replacement and for fault investigations of failed plant.
29. Testing and commissioning of Instrument Transformers (CTs &PTs) at all voltage levels. 
30. Very familiar with ETAP software and/or similar tools.
31. Lead power system interruption investigations and review power system events.
32. Run power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, and motor starting.
33. Review protection system design for all kind of voltage levels that includes, Protection and metering drawings, Schematic and logic drawings, Instrument transformer sizing.
34. Strong technical training, speaking, writing, and customer service skills
35. Review company standards and be familiar with international standards.
36. Run Arc Flash studies with complete evaluation for new and existing facilities.
