I am confident that I can be an asset to your team and contribute to the safe and reliable operation of your power plant.I am a Power Plant Operator. I have experience in coal, gas, and oil power plants. I am responsible for the operation of all plant systems and equipment including turbines, generators, pumps, compressors, boilers, heat exchangers and associated auxiliary equipment. My duties also include monitoring plant performance indicators such as temperature gauges and pressure meters; making adjustments to controls as necessary to maintain safe operating conditions within prescribed limits; starting up or shutting down plant operations as directed by Shift Supervisors; recording data in logbooks; performing routine maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings or changing filters on machinery; responding to alarms indicating abnormal conditions that could lead to an unsafe situation.
