03/2021– Present             GENERAL MANAGER- PRODUCTION            

Al-Haj Automotoive – proton pakistan project

 

  • Responsible for the building of new plant (Weld, Paint & Assembly Shops) as per Proton design.
  • Responsible for Equipment Selection, Process layout Formation, Manpower Hiring and all concern department formation required for a new factory.
  • Responsible for the Development of complete department structure, including departmental organograms, manpower requirement, Policies, SOP’s related to Operations, Product Design finalization & Quality Standards Formation. 
  • Overall supervision of Manufacturing, production, operation, inventory control, shipping, maintenance, planning and safety of the Production area for daily activities.
  • Coordination among all stakeholders, including owners, principal & vendors for proper commissioning and startup of Plant.
  • Coordinating with Supply chain department for timely availability of materials as per proton specification before start of trials and production.
  • Responsible for Product trials in all shops as per Proton Malaysia direction.

  • Designed the Factory & Paint Shop layout, selected the required equipment, and coordinated with paint equipment suppliers for paint material selection.
  • Built synergies between AFAPL, Renault and suppliers, to ensure different working areas of Paint Shop will operate smoothly in accordance with Renault Production System and Standards.
  • Designed the standard operating procedures/Manuals for production operations in order to meet customer commitments through the production of timely, efficient and high quality products and service.
  • Developed Manpower requirement details for each area of Paint shop with required training & development programs in order to achieve the required productivity & Quality results after production startup.
  • Extensively coordinated with all inter-department shop heads and in-charges, in factory layout and process flow improvements in order to achieve the daily/monthly/yearly agreed targets for production and quality in accordance with the production schedule.

  • Standardized ED Paint Consumption with respect to body area to achieve cost saving of Rs.8 Millions/year.
  • Effectively designed new bumper facility for paint shop having the capacity of 75000 units/year to enhance capacity of paint shop up to 54000 units/ year from 35000 units/year.
  • Reduced in consumption of cleaning thinner through process modification and introduced thinner recycling machine to save cost of RS.105/ Unit and reduce in VOC trend to 48 gm/m2 against the target of 56.
