I have recently completed my master of science in Microbiology and Immunology from National University oof Medical Sciences (NUMS).

In the NUMS laboratory, an extensive research project was conducted, focusing on a comprehensive analysis of water quality encompassing both physicochemical and microbiological aspects. This research aimed to provide a holistic assessment of the safety and suitability of drinking water sources. Physicochemical parameters, including pH, turbidity, hardness, dissolved oxygen (DO), various ions such as calcium (Ca), chloride (Cl-), fluoride (F-), and the concentration of total dissolved solids (TDS), were meticulously examined. Concurrently, microbiological analyses targeted the identification and quantification of potentially harmful microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, and protozoa, which can pose serious health risks to consumers. This multifaceted research endeavor adhered to internationally recognized standards and guidelines, contributing valuable insights into the quality and safety of water sources in the region. The findings of this study hold significant implications for public health, environmental conservation, and the development of effective water treatment and management strategies.
