Mehroze Kamal

I am a Data Analyst with experience transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights for business and operational decision-making. I work with SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI to build reliable reports, dashboards, and performance tracking solutions. I have supported analytics projects across sales, HR, education, and e-commerce domains, with a strong focus on data accuracy, automation, and stakeholder-friendly reporting.

I currently work as a Data Analyst at Alexander McLain Ltd (March 2025–Present), where I support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, and Excel. My work focuses on KPI tracking, data validation, dashboard automation, and performance analysis across sales, HR, and operational datasets.

Previously, I worked as a Trainee Data Analyst at Speedy Mentors (February 2024–June 2024), where I developed automated reports and dashboards, performed data cleaning and SQL querying, and supported analytics projects across education, e-commerce, and service operations, reducing manual reporting time by 40%.

I hold an MSc in Data Analytics from Aston University (2022–2023), where I was awarded the Postgraduate Prize for Best Dissertation for research on forecasting financial crash precursors using LPPL, LSTM, and BSTS models. The programme provided strong training in statistical modelling, machine learning, time-series analysis, and applied data science.

I also hold an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (2014–2016), and a BSc in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of the Punjab, Lahore (2012–2014), which together built my foundation in algorithms, databases, programming, and analytical reasoning.
