Experience

 Supporting 24X7 most critical production databases and WebLogic application environments towards achieving high availability and performance.  Implementation of Oracle Exadata X8M, migrating 85TB of database from IBM AIX Power System to Oracle Exadata.  Hands-on experience on Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL Database Administration and Quarterly Patching to ensure Database Security.  Applied patches on Grid and RDBMS and on WebLogic as well.  Developed and implemented database administration policies and standards operating procedures.  Configured DR setup of all Databases.  Configured Database Audit and user access management.  Written shell scripts for pro-active monitoring of mission critical production databases.  Designed and implemented Backups and Recovery Policies.  Upgraded Databases and applied Security Patches.  Create users, profile and roles and grant appropriate privileges to users also administer space by creating tablespaces, adding and resizing data files.  Implemented Advanced Security Options for PCI DSS, Internal, External, Regulatory Auditing.  Monitoring database performance using AWR, ADDM reports and SQL tuning Advisor  Performed Complete Data Centre Disaster recovery drill.  Convert a physical standby database to a snapshot standby database and vice versa.  Installation of SQL Server 2019 and Backup and restoration process in SQL Server.  Troubleshooting performance related issues being reported in Database and EBS concurrent requests.  Setup DR environments using Data Guard.  Troubleshoot Synch issues and recover standby database using by service.  MS SQL databases backups, recoveries and user accounts management.  Perform periodically Application & Database maintenance.  Coordination with Oracle Corporation for technical support.  On demand extracting data from the database.  Other jobs similar to Oracle DBA
