Services offered
As a Prosthetist and Orthotist, I am passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices. With a strong background in anatomy, biomechanics, and materials science, I am able to design and fabricate custom devices that meet the unique needs of each patient. I enjoy collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Experience
At PSRD (Pakistan Society of Rehabilitation for the Differently Abled), I gained hands-on clinical experience working with patients with amputations, spinal cord injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing prosthetic and orthotic interventions. My role included the design, fabrication, and fitting of custom-made devices, providing gait training and mobility assistance, collaborating with physicians, therapists, and fabrication teams, educating patients on device use and care, and managing administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient records, fittings, deliveries, repairs, and billing to ensure efficient clinical operations.
Education
I hold a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Prosthetics & Orthotics from King Edward Medical University, Lahore (2020–2023), graduating with a final grade of A- (71%). During my studies, I received comprehensive academic and clinical training in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, prosthetics, orthotics, rehabilitation, and applied materials. I developed strong competencies in patient assessment, gait analysis, casting, modification, device alignment, and clinical decision-making, along with hands-on experience in fabricating orthotic and prosthetic devices using both traditional methods and modern CAD/CAM technologies. My education also included training in interdisciplinary healthcare settings, workshop safety, and research methodology, culminating in a final-year research project focused on clinical innovation in prosthetic and orthotic practice.
