Kashif Laeeq

Dr. Kashif Laeeq is a university professor, researcher, and IT consultant for a variety of enterprises. He is a faculty member at Federal Urdu University Karachi in the Department of Computer Science. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from FAST-NU Karachi and also holds other degrees and certificates, including M.Phil., M.Sc., and MCS. He has written over 24 academic research publications, co-authored a book on the cyber-physical system, and collaborated on various commercial research initiatives. In the course of his pedagogical journey, he has won several achievements including the HEC Indigenous Ph.D. fellowship, two best paper awards, and a teacher of the year award. He is working as a technical and program committee member for different international journals and conferences and also serving as a board member of various Karachi chapters. Moreover, he is an active participant in a number of research groups, including ACM, IJSER, IACSIT, IEEE, and IEEEP. He has conducted many lectures, training sessions, and workshops about the concept of blockchain, and modern programming languages, especially object-oriented, flutter, and Python programming. His name is also mentioned on the World Scientist Rankings 2023 website.

• With more than 17 years of in-depth experience in instructing computer core courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. 
• Conducted many professional training programs online and onsite. 
• Authored more than 20 research papers and a chapter for a global book on cyber-physical systems, visited all over the globe to present research findings. 
• Supervised many final year projects, master's thesis, and provided technical support for two Ph.D. dissertations.
