Iqra Shoaib is a phd scholar in economics and carried research in small and medium enterprise. 

she has gained experience in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating projects of social mobilization and community development. she  has led more then 5 projects as Project Leader/Team Leader relating to social mobilization, Microcredit, Community physical Infrastructure, women empowerment, awareness raising on rights of women supported by several national and international organizations such as British Asian trust (BAT) with the implementation partner of Standard chartered foundation , GRASP  with Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund PPAF and international trade Centre. And currently working as a Gender Specialist in Housing Resilience for flood affecties in Sindh with the government of Sindh funded by World Bank.

She had completed her M.Phil. in Economics in 2016 while completed Master in Business Administration in 2005.

During my M.Phil. she had done research in women entrepreneurship and write a thesis of on topic of “Socio Economic Factors Influencing Women Entrepreneurs in Beauty Parlor Business of Hyderabad district”. In this thesis, I have studied different social and economic Factors with the relationship of women entrepreneurs that influence for the business activities specially in the beauty Parlor. I also analyzed that these women entrepreneurs are the most important pillar for the economic stability of their respective family and also decided the best indicator for stock returns based on financial ratios. I had published my research paper on the topic “making sense of China economic slowdown with future concern.” in Pakistan research journal.
