I am Imran Younus, FCA and FCCA, qualified both certifications in December 2004, having experience of over 18 years including post qualification experience of over 15 years.

I am currently working as General Manager - Group Head of Taxation  and Finance in Unity Foods Limited. My main role is to look after the taxation matters of whole group as well as management and assistance in corporate affairs, legal matters, business development and processes implementation.

Previously I was currently working as Head of Projects, Taxation and Payables in Achroma Pakistan Limited. My main role was to supervise and manage the company's Taxation, regulatory affairs, treasury and Payables activities. Besides these I worked line by line with CFO in supporting and reporting of company's performance, costing and other corporate and regulatory matters.

From 2012 to 2020, I worked as a Head of Department - Finance and Accounts in Novatex Limited (part of Ghani and Tayyab Group of Companies) a manufacturing company and one of the leading exporter in Pakistan. My finance team comprised of 30 peoples. Being Head of Department, I was responsible for the overall financial reporting, strategic and financial planning, tax planning, income tax and sales tax returns submission of Parent and its subsidiary companies. Besides these, I was also responsible for statutory compliance, data submission to various Government agencies namely Customs, Tariff Commission, FBR, etc.

From 2001 to 2012, I was associated with Ernst & Young and involved in the financial audits, internal audits, internal controls reviews, financial projections, financial due diligence,  documentation of policies and procedures and special audits including quality audits of internal audit departments.

Based on my experience and professional I consider myself as the strong fit for working in the finance, control and audit roles.
