Nursing graduate of the prestigious Aga Khan University Pakistan, Having over 12 years of robust healthcare experience from bedside nurse to Manager Nursing and Manager Infection prevention and control. Currently overseeing 5 hospitals in Lahore (Managed by The Indus Hospitals and Health Network) as regional Deputy Manager Infection and Control. I have previously worked as Manager Nursing and Head Nurse ICU. Other than my primary role I have also worked as Coordinator Quality improvement and patient safety and successfully conducted Health care commission audits. 

In my current role I supervise Infection control activities in 5 hospitals, with my team of 5 infection control practitioners. 

My major roles and responsibilities are ,ensuring employees health and safety , immunization and record keeping ,Implementation and monitoring IPC policies and procedures in all 5 hospitals.

Supervise Infection control audits i-e hand hygiene, Environmental surveillance, surgical site infection surveillance, Cultures and sensitivity, Implementation of care bundles and audits(CLABSI, CAUTI). 

Teaching and training of hospital staff on standard precautions, transmission based precautions and all IPC related topics.
