Ibrahim Tayyab

I'm a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the ZJU-UIUC Institute with a strong foundation in mechanical product design, FEA, and prototyping.

My experience spans academic R&D and freelance industry projects. As a freelancer, I’ve delivered CAD and mechanical systems for compact appliances, industrial workflows, and sheet-metal consumer products. In my senior design project, I led the full mechanical design and prototyping of a 2-DOF spherical induction motor—integrating laser-cut stators, custom jigs, and a modular aluminum frame with tight tolerances.

I’m proficient in Creo, Inventor, Python, MATLAB, and Excel, and comfortable working across cross-cultural teams. I'm open to mechanical design or R&D roles globally and excited to join innovative teams where design and manufacturing meet.
