LWMC is responsible to implement and manage different programs, people and acঞ ons for

improvement of modern Solid Waste Management System for the Lahore city. My role as

Environmental Manager requires me to plan, organize, communicate, lead and control

resources in the company.

▪ Provide guidance and take on the relationship of lead liaison with environmental regulatory

authorities e.g. EPD, P&D.

▪ Undertaking investigations to improve environmental and sustainability performance.

▪ Represent the company in relevant industry groups, associations, memberships and

programs that enable collaboration on.

▪ Identify, encourage and implement environmental continuous improvement initiatives.

▪ Ensure financial modelling caters for both short term and long term financial needs to

sustain waste services.

▪ Executing operational activities of Lahore city - ensuring proper waste collecঞ on,

transportaionon, disposal & recycling.

▪ Monitoring, evaluating and coordinating with all stakeholders involved.

▪ Proposing recommendations to senior management in order to bring sustainable

improvement in waste management of the city.

▪ Responsible for close collaboration on with local community & politial representatives/other

government agencies.

▪ Providing guidance and training to subordinates and monitoring their performance as per

KPIs.
